I've been airbrushing professionally since 1987. It all started when I started painting T-shirts on Mackianc Island, a summer resort area in Lake Huron, between Michigan's upper and lower pennisula's. Incidentally, that' s where the movie," Somewhere In Time" starring Christopher Reeves was filmed.

After a summer stint on the island I next worked at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky , Ohio for two summers, again, airbrushing T-shirts.

This was a tremendous experience artistically. Believe it or not working long , intense hours (somedays were 10 hours long with a 30 minute lunch break) taught me to focus and become very adept in mastering the craft. Now some may not take airbrushing seriously when It's done on shirts, but let me tell you it paid for my university's tution!

Shortly afterward I worked at Daytona's Spring break and it was there that I experienced my first Bike Week. Working On leathers is a little differnet than a cotton white T. Since that time I have spent the last sixteen years at Sturgis starting with the 48th annual until this year.

This year was the best year for painting on bikes, and every year it continues to get better and better.
